Teen's wish comes true thanks to Jewelers for Children and Make-A-Wish

EUGENE, Ore. - Cystic fybrosis forces Ally Mock to miss school and stay inside a lot.

On Thursday, the 16-year-old got a change of pace courtesy of Jewelers for Children and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Mock made a wish to go on a shopping spree. She said one of the things that she wants the most is a laptop so she can take online classes.

Wish granted: Thursday started with a limo ride, a shopping spree at Wal-Mart Supercenter, lunch at Mongolian Grill and a party at Fred Meyer Jewelers.

Her wish was made possible by Jewelers for Children through its support of Make-A-Wish, the organizations said.
