Stuff The School Bus: 'it's very important they... have the tools needed for success'

EUGENE, Ore. -- The Eugene Education Foundation is asking you to stuff a school bus with school supply donations to help limited-income students in the Eugene area.

The foundation is partnering with St. Vincent de Paul to distribute the supplies to students before the Back To School rush.

"It's very expensive for many families, and when students arrive to class it's very important that they have their backpacks, the supplies needed for their classes so that they have the tools needed for success," said Molly Lajoie, foundation executive director of the Stuff The School Bus promotion.

Volunteers will be trying to pack a school bus with school supplies between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Walmart parking lot of the Delta Oaks shopping center.
